A Passion for Dentistry
Dr. Ellen Zamora has had a passion for dentistry from a young age and started working in the dental field as a dental assistant at 16 years old. She completed her undergraduate studies with a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from West Virginia University’s School of Music and a minor in Biology. Dr. Zamora received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2010 with high honors. She was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, awarded to only the top 5 graduates in her class.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Zamora worked in private practice and served as a clinical instructor at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She and her husband moved to North Carolina in 2016 for his fellowship training and fell in love with the area. Dr. Zamora has been working in the Triad since that time and settled in Greensboro in 2018. Dr. Zamora prides herself on providing her patients with high quality dentistry in a gentle and pain-free manner. She enjoys keeping up with the newest developments in the field, and implementing new techniques and technologies to her dental practice and patient care.
Dr. Ellen Zamora is married to Dr. Brian Zamora, a retina surgeon in Greensboro. They have 3 young sons. In her free time, Dr. Zamora enjoys working out, running, hiking, playing piano, cooking and most of all, spending time with family.
